### 06\_MODI ADD-ON

The MODI ADD-ON mount is attached to the Interface Lip assembly using a printed adapter part. Proper use of the MODI add-on will require that the Interface Lip assembly as well as the PCB platform assembly inside of the junction box are re-oriented.

2. With the wires still connected, remove and place the interface lip assembly off to the side of the junction box. Remove the PCB platform, rotate it 180º then place it back into the junction box.

<figure><img src="/files/dMzRFWMGgRhtmJNQGHPM" alt=""><figcaption><p>Re-orienting the PCB platform</p></figcaption></figure>

3. Insert the printed adapter part at an angle in the underside of the interface lip assembly by the rocker switch and power plug with the tabbed portion of the printed adapter part up against the plastic of the Interface Lip assembly. Press firmly on the printed adapter part until its flushed with the interface lip assembly.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://rover.mantismc.com/3d-printing/designing-your-part_tinkercad.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
